Curiosity, fast learning and a strong desire to grow
We are looking for someone capable of keeping track of people, orders, materials, locations, deadlines and priorities, anticipating potential issues and approaching problems with possible solutions.
Working arrangement:
The position is based at our headquarters in Florence city centre.
You will work closely with the Executive Team and collaborate daily with Production, Marketing, HR, Administration and the other teams involved in product development.
You will also coordinate regularly across our production and retail locations to ensure effective organisation, material availability, quality standards and production planning.
This is a full-time, on-site position.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
My Mancini is expanding its creative team in Florence and is looking for a Graphic Designer with strong professional Adobe Photoshop skills to become a key part of our bespoke customization experience.
At My Mancini, a Graphic Designer is not simply someone who creates a render.
You will work directly with our clients throughout the creative process, listening to their stories, understanding their style, tastes and personality, and helping them turn their ideas into something completely personal.
Think of the role as a Personal Creative Stylist.
Every project starts with a person.
A journey. A family. A passion. A memory. A pet. An artist. A color. A personal style. Or sometimes just an idea that has not fully taken shape yet.
Your job is to turn those elements into a visual concept, suggesting colors, compositions, graphics, materials and creative solutions until you and the client have designed a sneaker that truly feels like theirs.
A key part of this process happens LIVE, directly in front of the client, using Adobe Photoshop to develop and modify the design in real time.
But your work does not end once the render is approved.
The approved design becomes the starting point for the actual production of the sneaker.
Everything created on screen must therefore translate into clear, accurate and complete instructions for the artists and artisans who will physically bring the design to life.
This makes the Graphic Designer an important connection point between the client, the creative process and production.
You will be responsible for making sure every request has been understood correctly, every detail is accurate, the design is technically clear and all the information needed for production reaches the right people.
In this role, creativity and organization are equally important.
What you will do:
- Create professional sneaker renders using Adobe Photoshop
- Work directly with clients from all over the world
- Lead selected Live Design Sessions, developing and modifying sneakers in real time together with the client
- Listen to each client’s story, preferences and ideas and translate them into a creative concept
- Suggest colors, compositions, graphics, materials and aesthetic details, acting as a creative consultant throughout the experience
- Manage design changes and revisions through to final approval
- Turn approved renders into clear, complete and production-ready projects
- Communicate daily with artists, artisans, the production team and the commercial team
- Track the progress of the projects assigned to you
- Use internal management systems, CRM platforms and digital tools to organize clients, projects, information and follow-ups
- Manage the CRM activity related to your clients, keeping requests, information and project statuses up to date
- Manage multiple clients and projects at the same time, often at different stages of the process
- Take part in events, business trips, temporary locations and My Mancini On Tour projects in Italy and abroad
Who we're looking for
The first requirement is very clear:
Adobe Photoshop needs to be a tool you genuinely know how to use at a strong professional level.
Basic knowledge of the Adobe Suite is not enough.
We are looking for someone who can work confidently and quickly in Photoshop, using layers, masks, selections, textures, colors, images and graphic compositions, and who can make changes efficiently even while a client is sitting in front of them.
But technical design skills alone are not enough.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Creative, with a strong visual sense
Highly organized - Precise and detail-oriented
- Fast and confident with computers and digital tools
- Comfortable learning and using CRM systems, internal platforms and business software
- Able to manage several tasks and projects simultaneously
- Good at setting priorities and meeting deadlines
- Independent and accountable in managing their own workload
Confident communicating and interacting directly with clients - Comfortable working in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
Solution-oriented and naturally good at problem solving - Curious and eager to learn
A strong team player who enjoys working across different departments
English
Fluent spoken English is essential.
Every day, we welcome clients from all over the world to our Atelier, and a significant number of our Live Design Sessions are conducted entirely in English.
You will need to feel comfortable having a natural conversation with a client, understanding their requests, explaining your creative ideas and confidently guiding them through design decisions in English.
Organization & Multitasking
This is one of the most important aspects of the role.
During the same day, you might lead a Live Design Session with one client, update the render for another, receive feedback on a previous project, speak with production and check the progress of several other sneakers.
For this reason, we are looking for someone who can combine creative thinking with a strong working method.
Being organized means always knowing where each project stands, what is still missing, who needs to take the next step, what the current priorities are and what information needs to be passed to the next department.
A render is not simply a beautiful image.
It is the blueprint our artisans will use to create a real sneaker for a real client.
Accuracy, ownership and attention to detail are therefore essential.
My Mancini on Tour
The main base for this role will be our Florence Atelier, but the job can take you far beyond it.
Throughout the year, My Mancini organizes events, collaborations, Experiences, temporary locations and special projects both in Italy and internationally.
You may have the opportunity to travel and take part in My Mancini On Tour, bringing our customization experience directly to new cities, venues, private events and special projects.
We are therefore looking for someone who is open and available to travel when required.
Location & Working hours
Florence City Centre – Via dei Calzaiuoli
Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
5 working days per week, 8 hours per day.
Our Atelier operates Monday to Sunday between 10:00 AM and 9:00 PM.
The role works on a weekly shift schedule, including rotating weekends, with the corresponding days off.
More than a desk job
You will not simply spend your days sitting in front of Photoshop.
You will meet people from all over the world.
You will hear their stories.
You will help them discover an idea.
You will turn that idea into a design.
And then you will watch that design leave your screen, pass into the hands of our artisans and ultimately become a real, completely unique sneaker.
You will manage clients, work with digital tools and CRM systems, collaborate with different departments, take part in events and travel, and progressively take on greater responsibility.
We are looking for someone who is creative but practical, sharp, organized, curious and eager to grow quickly in a role that combines Graphic Design, Photoshop, client relationships, organization and product.
If Photoshop is genuinely one of your strongest working tools, you enjoy working with people and you are looking for a creative role that is anything but repetitive, we want to meet you.
